Mission Venture is an all inclusive mission experience for church youth groups.  Mission Venture will allow youth who have completed grades 7 to 12 to minister during the day and experience challenging worship and Bible studies at night. 

3 Locations - 1 Mission Venture

Choose from 3 different locations (four different weeks) for the Mission Venture that best meets your group's needs.  Mission Venture will be held in Ridgeland, Beaufort, and Bluffton, South Carolina.  The Mission Venture worship and program will be the same for each location.  Ministry opportunities will relate to the specific needs of the individual communities.  Every Mission Venture location will offer ministry opportunities for Bible Clubs, Sports/Recreation ministry, and local church partnerships.  Each location will also offer extra curricular activities such as swimming and basketball.  To see complete project descriptions, click on the Mission Venture location below.

Mission Venture Ridgeland

Schedule

Mission Venture participants will arrive on Sunday afternoon and leave the next Saturday morning.  A typical day includes two ministry opportunities, a small group Bible study, and a large group worship experience.  Different activities during the week will include:  orientation, worship services, group-sharing, off time (Wednesday afternoon), cookout, and commissioning service.

Participation

The cost of Mission Venture is $195/person/week.  This price includes: Housing, 3 Meals per day (excluding Wednesday evening), Worship leadership, Themed t-shirt, ID badge, Devotional journal, and a LCM Pin

Mission Venture teams must provide all ministry supplies.

Pre-Project Orientation

A Orientation and training event will be held for Mission Venture leaders on from 1:00 pm Friday, April 20 to 12:00 pm Saturday, April 21.  Registration fee pays for 2 leaders to attend event.  For a Pre-project orientation registration form, click here. 

Mission Venture Registration

1. Select Mission Venture location and week.

2. Complete Mission Team Information Form, call 843-726-8294, or email lcm@islc.net to confirm availability.

3. Mail Registration Form and $45 registration fee (Acceptance into Mission Venture is based on a first come, first serve postmark of registration form).

4. An $90 deposit/person is due by April 12th. **

5. Balance of cost is due when team arrives at Mission Venture.

**After June 1, all deposits are nonrefundable.
